Fortecare was founded by Folkmar Geyer and Adrian Schneider who together have more than 40 years experience in the Incontinence industry in South Africa
Fortecare aims to assist in developing the well-being of communities in which it operates. Our commitment to B-BBEE demonstrates this and makes us a Level 2 contributor

Our Leadership
Folkmar has been involved in the Incontinence industry for more than 30 years. Firstly as the founder of Vitamed-Hartmann and thereafter realising his vision of local manufacture of adult incontinence products through the Validus Medical group. Folkmar’s vision, ambition and entrepreneurial spirit set him apart as an inspirational leader
Sandile is a business leader and entrepreneur with over 23 years’ experience in the engineering, communication and construction industries. Sandile founded the ISF Group of Companies and though his vision and commitment nurtured the growth of the Group demonstrating his commitment to South Africa’s nation building and inclusive opportunities for all
Adrian has been involved in the Incontinence industry for more than 10 years. Having started his career at KPMG he joined Reunert before joining Validus Medical. At Validus Adrian initially joined in a financial role before moving through various roles spanning procurement, sales, distribution and production enabling him to gain an in-depth understanding of the Adult Incontinence industry and product knowledge.
